I started the Police Academy on July 30, 2018. I was a bright-eyed 30 year old (second oldest in my class) who had no clue what was in store for her.

The Academy was a grueling 34 weeks process, one filled with constant screaming and physically draining PT. The anxiety I had during that time pales in comparison with the anxiety I have being on the road as a police officer.
